Thank you for your interest in the San Diego Archers.
SDA is a very active club, sponsoring two shoots a month and
three major tournaments a year. A 28 target 3D Round on the first
Sunday of the month and a Qualifier Round (28 target Field or Hunter
Round) on the third Sunday of each month.
Each June SDA hosts the ‘King Arthur’s Day Tournament’, a 40
target novelty shoot with a medieval theme.
SDA holds a work party at the range in Balboa Park. By working
together just one day a month SDA is able to maintain a high quality
archery range throughout the year. With this busy schedule SDA
relies on the active contributions of time and talent from its

Active members of SDA earn points for each shoot that they help
with and for each work party they attend. Points may be used to
renew membership in SDA, to pay for regular SDA monthly shoots, and
to pay for the ‘King Arthur’s Day Tournament. Points may also be
redeemed for SDA T-Shirts and Sweatshirts.
For insurance and range certification purposes SDA requests that
all members belong to the NFAA and other organizations.
Membership in the NFAA, etc. provides you with a monthly
newsletter of the archery activities in California, a subscription
to NFAA's 'Archery' Magazine, and a handicap card. Your scores from
Field and Hunter rounds are recorded on your handicap card and used
to place you into the correct class for your shooting style at
tournaments.
