Thank you for your interest in the San Diego Archers.  We are now accepting applications for membership, they can be found by clicking the “Applications” button at the left side of your screen. 

February is just around the corner and your annual membership fee will be due for 2008.  Please remember your membership allows you to participate in our regularly scheduled tournaments (3-D, Field, Hunter, and Animal) at a discounted rate.  Members who contribute to our work parties receive even bigger discounts.

We encourage our members to participate in, and turn in a score from, at least one each of the following tournaments;  3-D, Field, Hunter, and Animal Rounds, at the Balboa range, and the 900 round at Morley Field.  (Of course, you can shoot as many tournaments as you like!)  Your participation in one each of the four shoots at the Balboa range automatically enters you in the coveted “Club Champion Award” competition.  A member for each style with the highest total is awarded Club Champion.  

We have many exciting events planned for the coming year, The Iron Turkey Challenge on March 2^nd is just one of them.  We have a brand new Iron Turkey to shoot at, with scoring rings worth 25 and 15 points.  There will be four “challenge shots”, one taken from a blind.  During the Turkey Tune-up for Archers portion of the event we will have guest speakers with lots of information on hunting Turkeys in San Diego County .  AND fantastic raffle prizes, including; A hunting blind, one dozen Victory arrows, a turkey hunting vest, gift certificate, Muzzy broad heads, and more.
